Marisa Pl: ready for the weekend? See the picture of the sticker on the wall I took last night? It’s Gushi restaurant in L.A.-Westwood Village.
I’m kinda confused…don’t know if it’s Korean food I ate that’s Japanese-style or people of Korean background serving Japanese food. Whatever. What matters to me is that the kitchen is clean(where everyone can look directly into the kitchen when placing their order) and they have an A rating from the L.A. County Department of Public Health. Price is reasonable, good size portions of the food they serve and as as for customer service…it’s not like I’m gonna get Michelin-type service, so it’s typical fast-food service.
I’ve been going to this restaurant on-off the past ten years and it’s one of the restaurants I go before or after an event at UCLA(usually a sporting event). Seen the menu change which had limited selections and now it has way too many selections - which is good. It’s a good spot to see the locals and students scarf late at night or earlier in the day when the professionals walk up to Westwood Village from their skyscraper business offices on Wilshire Blvd.
