President Obama said from the get go when he became President-elect - he inherited a mess without mentioning anyone’s name.
Capt. Bush sunk the ship
The political cartoon (Rick McKee, Jan. 18), got it all wrong. It was Capt. George W. Bush and his conservative crew at the helm for eight years that put the ship United States of America on the rocks. President Obama was tossing out life vests, trying to save survivors. The GOP crew kept telling him to stop wasting valuable resources. Now conservatives want another turn at the helm to finish the job of completely sinking the ship of state.
