sophille: ~i’m with wendy~
Dave2, Mark3 and Debbie2: Here’s a gif from Wendy Greuel’s fb pg. I wish her lots of luck to be the next mayor for the city of L.A. Good luck Wendy!
“Good morning, Los Angeles! Are you ready to vote in tomorrow’s election?
Make a plan and share it with your friends: http://WendyGreuel.org/plan-to-vote”
Coffee Fix mates: not that we need to be reminded to go out and vote tomorrow, but check out this Eric Garcetti picture from his fb pg. Garcetti claims he’s not part of the l.a. political machine - what bunk.
Coffe Fix Mates: bless these Eric Garcetti’s for city of l.a. mayor volunteers. They(not these) were out in my neck of the woods trying to change my/neighbors mind. Anything can happen tomorrow night.

Happy Monday Rainbow Runner 3: former Hawai’i Governor is going to speak tonight at CSUN’s Honors Convocation. Wow. You had a good week?
Rainbow Runner3 and Steve2: it’s good to be a Matador.
The three 2013 Distinguished Alumni accepted their awards and expressed gratitude to Cal State Northridge for recognizing their achievements. My good story for the day. Congratulations to Erik Gallegos and to the rest of the great Matadors.
from cal st northridge’s fb pg: Erick Gallegos was deaf from birth, and blind since nine—but that didn’t stop him from getting his bachelor’s in English Literature and Creative Writing, an achievement from the only school he wanted to go to.
“Several of my teachers in high school had gone to CSUN, and they told me that CSUN, with all the programs that it has, could accommodate me,” he said. http://ow.ly/l4aLr
Cal St Northridge Oviatt Library looks great around this time for commencement ceremonies. Too bad all the schools cannot have their ceremonies on the Oviatt lawn. Congratulations Matadors!
Relatives, Ohana, Runners, Spikers, Coffee Buds and Bon Odori pals: Looks like some of you had a good and awful weekend. I read your posts, online bragging and grievances and most of all dm tweets. I’ll reply as soon as I can. Have a good week.
from KING5 fb pg: Who’s jumping for joy because it’s the weekend?

Eric9: there’s two things about this Long Beach Pride picture - the Dad and the house on Ocean Bl and Temple. Have a good week.

Happy Monday Rice Cakes: yesterday I was hanging out by the pool in Mid Valley 818 celebrating Hamburger Month and Long Beach Pride. If you were in Long Beach I hope y’all had a festive time like these young peeps.
uppingtheantics: Such a fun day yesterday, my friends rule.
Not the best reason to vote for Wendy. See attached jpg and what was on her FB pg - Los Angeles is 50% female, but City Hall could be 100% male.
If that happens, Los Angeles would go all the way back to 1968 — the last year that the City Council was all men.
Share this and tell your friends to join Women with Wendy to help lead LA forward: http://WendyGreuel.org/women
