Family, friends, ondo and Rainbow Runners: your selfies are lookin’ good and keep movin’! Good night. “Here’s to our four legged best friends, thanks for getting us out the door day after day, and showing us the purity of running. Happy #NationalDogDay”
Here is a post to make you hungry before reading the next three posts which will probably make you angry. Adagi or dongo - it’s Okinawan doughnuts. “Mmmmmm … andagi!!! Get a taste of Okinawan culture and cuisine at the 32nd annual Okinawan Festival in Waikiki’s Kapiolani Park, this Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 30 and 31. Here’s the hook up to pretty much everything you’ll want to nosh on and experience at the fest.

JohnG9: Hey. I’ll get right to the point. I did read what our wonderful Gov. Brown said about immigrants who are not legal. Boy was there lotsa groans(and cheers) and…you know what I’ll just stop. I’m sure your friends and you musta hit the roof. Anyway here’s an “immigrant” crossing the street. Everyone needs to lighten up about this situation and be like us stay calm and they just have to follow the rules, stop yelling and quit begging for an easy pass.
JohnG9: I like your early vacation pics and thanks for the texts. These two guys are the best dressed illegal aliens/illegal immigrants/undocumented immigrant.
I ilke where we stand on this issue - it hasn’t changed since the protest of 2006. This topic and situation is so explosive and volatile. As a person of color it is too bad a person of color called you a racist because he(and a whole others) don’t agree with your opinion on this spicy entree. You’re not a racist and that word is being misused just like…bullying. G’night!
JP2 and Klem: Happy Wednesday night. I don’t see you two in this picture. You two took great pictures of the waves. I wish I was in Manhattan Beach or the other Southland beaches to see the big waves. (you’re welcome to meet up with me this weekend - see the following posts las vegas, the taste, volleyball - just a few things I mentioned)
JP2: you weren’t the only one who ditched work just to see the gigantic waves in L.A., OC and Ventura counties. Don’t we just love hurricanes? ;-)
JP2: hurricane pictures…not taken by me. Your brother okay down there in Long Beach. Have a good Labor Day weekend.
Doug9: Hi. Got your messages. This is too tempting. “Hate water wasting and love being passive-aggressive? Send us #droughtshaming photos by sharing them on our page.”
DS2 and Eric9: you two are always plugged so here’s another Labor Day/birthday suggestion - Saturday night at LMU…women’s volleyball
(picture does not go with caption…so what!)
